When you create an account, we collect information such as:

  • App-specific data, such as:
    • For My Milk Stash: Breastmilk pumping logs (e.g., volume, time, storage details), reminders, and supply trends.
    • For My Smart Solids: Baby feeding preferences, allergen tracking, growth data, photos you upload for meal planning, and recipe preferences.
  • Feedback, reviews, or support queries you provide.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Device information (e.g., model, operating system, unique device identifiers).
  • Log information (e.g., time and duration of use, features accessed).
  • Usage data (e.g., interactions with AI-generated recommendations or analytics for pumping or feeding trends).
  • Location information (only with your explicit consent, e.g., for regional recipe suggestions).

Information from Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (hosted in the EU) for authentication, data storage, and analytics. Firebase may collect usage data as described in their Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services (e.g., track pumping sessions or generate baby-friendly recipes).
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., tailor reminders or recipe suggestions based on your inputs).
  • Process and complete transactions (e.g., subscription payments).
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages.
  • Generate AI-driven insights (e.g., milk supply trends or recipe recommendations) using secure, non-training interactions with third-party AI providers.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers, such as:
    • Firebase (Google Cloud, EU region) for hosting, authentication, and analytics.
    • OpenAI, for real-time AI processing (e.g., trend analysis or recipe generation). OpenAI does not use your data for training, and interactions are isolated to your session.
  • In response to legal requests (e.g., court orders) or to protect our rights.
  • In connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition of all or part of our company.
  • With your explicit consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including Firebase App Check and Firestore security rules, to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Only you, as the authenticated account owner, can access or modify your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law (e.g., GDPR retention periods). You can request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Choices" below).

Children's Privacy

Our Services are designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (per GDPR) without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16 without consent, please contact us immediately at support@dalofamilyapps.com, and we will take steps to delete it.

International Data Transfers

Our Services are hosted in the European Union. If you access our Services from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU, in compliance with GDPR and standard contractual clauses.

  • Opt out of promotional communications via email or in-app settings.
  • Choose whether to share location data.
  • Request deletion of specific content you've shared.

We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and, where required, notifying you via email or in-app alerts. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
