Free tools for parents
Three free checks for the questions that come up most in the first two years: is my baby ready for solids, when should the next nap and bedtime be, and how much milk do they actually need.
Every Dalo Baby tool runs in your browser, asks a handful of questions and gives you a straight answer in two or three minutes. The result is worked out on your own device — nothing is stored, and you don't need an account to see it. The numbers come from published WHO, AAP, NHS and Sleep Foundation guidance, not from what worked for one baby.

Baby Milk & Formula Calculator
How much formula or breast milk does my baby need?

Baby wake window calculator
When should the next nap and bedtime be today?
Tell us how old your baby is and what time they woke up this morning. We'll map out today's nap windows and bedtime — no signup, no guessing.
Is your baby ready for solids?
Starting solids is a big milestone, and it's hard to know if you're reading the signs right. Answer a few questions about your baby and get a clear, honest answer — plus what to do next.

Common questions about these tools
Are the Dalo Baby tools free?
Yes. All three tools are free and give you your result without an account or a payment. Sharing your email is optional and only unlocks the longer written breakdown that goes with your result.
Do I need to download an app to use them?
No. Every tool runs in your phone or desktop browser, and the answer appears on the same page. The Dalo Baby apps pick up where the tools stop — they carry the plan forward day to day rather than answering a single question once.
How accurate are these calculators?
They are starting points, not prescriptions. The solids quiz follows the readiness signs WHO and the AAP both list, the milk calculator reconciles the AAP's 2.5 fl oz per pound per day against the NHS's 150–200 ml/kg range, and the wake window schedules follow Sleep Foundation and AAP sleep guidance. Every baby sits somewhere inside those ranges — your paediatrician knows where yours sits, and none of this replaces them.
Do the tools work for a premature baby?
Use the adjusted age rather than the calendar age. Feeding volumes and wake windows both follow development, so a baby born eight weeks early should be entered eight weeks younger than their birthday says.
Is my data stored?
No. Ages, weights and wake times are calculated in your browser and never sent to us. A shared result link encodes the numbers in the URL itself, so there is nothing on our side to look up or delete.
